We love to get people excited about the hot hot hot Smarty Pants event and then in turn, to hear about how excited you are!!! So… as a wrap up with the sale being only ONE week away (yep… I said ONE WEEK!!!) we are offering another pre-sale pass contest. ONE lucky winner will be admitted to come and shop the pre-sale on Wed. October 6 before opening to the public on Thursday Oct. 7 at 10am.

How do you enter? Here are the guidelines listed below. Pay careful attention to the rules because if the criteria is not met, your entry will be forfeited. For each number below, you will be entered once…. (That means you have the chance to be entered to win MULTIPLE times!!! The more you do, the more chances you have to win!)

1. Sign up on our email list on our website to receive reminders about the sale. (If you are already on it, your name is automatically entered!)
2. Follow us and “like” us on facebook.
3. Mention what you love about Smarty Pants on our facebook page.
4. Recommend Smarty Pants to a friend on facebook and have them comment on our facebook page about who sent them… example: “Sally Smith sent me!” Have them put your first and last name down. For each friend that says you sent them you get one entry into the contest!
5. Post a comment on Craigslist about our event with the DATE, TIME, & PLACE under the for sale > baby & kids category and post the listing number on facebook. Example “PostingID: 1978539664“

If you were thinking about volunteering, now is the time to snag a couple 3 hour shifts. They count as the standard 4 hour shifts! There are a few select shifts that only require 3 hours. You do the math… it doesn’t get better than this! How about THREE 3 hour shifts (that count as four hour shifts) and getting into the pre-sale as a VIP volunteer????? That simply means that you get to be among the very first to shop the sale…. with no long lines… AND get first dibs on all the great stuff!!!

Helpful Tips for Consignors…

Hello SmartyPants Consignors…

We want make sure that you are off to a good start with your consignment items. So many of you have already entered items and we even gave away $35 SP Bucks to Julie for winning our early bird contest. Can you believe it is fall already? SmartyPants sale is right around the corner! It will be here before we know it. I can’t tell you how excited we are to have our sale located in the Silver Draft Studio & Event Center right off Eagle Rd (click here for a MAP). It is HUGE HUGE HUGE!!! We have more room for big items such as furniture, strollers, bikes, cribs, etc. You will want to keep this post to refer back to it as you begin the process. Be sure to check out our What’s New for 2010 post as many things have changed… and we know you will LOVE it!

Consignor Registration & Item Entry: NOW is the time (if you haven’t begun already!) to start pulling FALL & WINTER (and we are now accepting all seasons for up to 3T)  items out of your closets! Our suggestion would be to arrange it all into categories for example….. toys first, then baby gear second, then clothes, etc. Categorizing makes it much more organized and easier on you. Make sure they are clean, pressed, buttoned, and if needed, have batteries that work. Appearance is what is going to make your items sell.

Crunched for time? Take advantage of our valet service where we do everything for you. All you need to do is contact us at info@SmartyPantsConsignment.com and tell us you want to utilize the valet service. We make it easy for the super busy! Last Day to request Valet Service is Sept. 24!
