Consigning Your Items

Consigning is one of the best ways to clean the clutter from your closets AND make some extra cash while you are at it!

And the BEST part…. it’s EASY!

  • Simply start by consigning at least a $100 worth or a minimum of 20 “new” or “like new” quality, clean and pressed items to sell. There is a $2.00 minimum on every item. For smaller items you can group them together with pins or a zip lock bag to reach the $2.00 value.
  • You’ll receive 70% of your sales with a $10 registration fee taken out of your check at the end of the sale.
  • You can make more by volunteering.
  • You’ll manage your own inventory in an easy to use online program.
  • We make tagging easy for you: Just print bar-coded tags online.
  • Get your money fast…. within 10 business days following the sale, often times sooner!
  • We do all the selling for you!
  • Turn your items in and then shop our sale or just simply relax! It is that easy!

Important Registration & Preparation Information

  • NEW CONSIGNOR: Register here if you have never consigned with us before.
  • RETURNING CONSIGNORS: Register here even if you have forgotten your consignor number.
  • DROP OFF: Schedule your drop off time. (YOU MUST HAVE A SCHEDULED DROP OFF TIME!)
  • VOLUNTEER for the sale.
  • PREPARE: Learn how to properly prepare your items to sell.
  • PRICE LIST: Price your items to sell… here are the suggested price ranges that are proven to be most successful.
  • Registration Closes: OCTOBER 3rd at MIDNIGHT! (YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ENTER ITEMS AFTER THIS!)

Special Invitation To Pre-Sale

All consignors are invited to attend our pre-sale before the public.

  • Your name must be on our Consignor list in order to be admitted and you must present your ticket at the door. (You get these at your scheduled drop off time.)
  • In order to receive the pre-sale pass you must consign at least 20 items or $100 worth of approved items. See our ACCEPTABLE ITEMS LIST.
  • We suggest bringing an open laundry basket or large mesh bag to carry your items.

  • There is a consignor registration fee of $10.00 for all consignors. This will be taken out of your check at the end of the sale.

Word Of Mouth Rewards: 5% Referral Program!

Word of mouth is the absolute best way to let our community know just how wonderful our SmartyPants sales are. That is why we have dedicated a special program just for those of you that can’t stop raving about the great deals at the sales.

How it works: After you have registered as a consignor, you can simply talk it up and get as many people to consign according to the SmartyPants Consignment guidelines and then SmartyPants will pay you a bonus commission based on what their sales are! Just make sure that when they sign up to consign that they put your consignor # or first and last name as a referral source. Not only will you be helping your friends clear the clutter from their closets but you will also be helping bulk up your pocket book!
